Halton Region · Lakeshore to Aldershot

Lawn care and snow removal in Burlington.

Just over the boundary from our Hamilton base — close enough for a reliable weekly route, and for a plow at four in the morning.

Close enough to be reliable

Burlington is in Halton Region rather than the City of Hamilton, which matters for municipal services but not much for us — Aldershot is minutes from our east-end base, and the whole lakeshore stretch is well inside a sensible winter route. Distance is the honest limit on any snow contract, because a plow promise you cannot physically keep at 4am is worthless. Burlington is comfortably inside ours.

Established streets and newer development

The older lakeshore neighbourhoods have mature trees and settled gardens that need real seasonal cleanups, while the newer areas north of the QEW are more open and more exposed to wind. Both are straightforward work — they just need different scheduling, and a quote that reflects which one you actually have.

What we do in Burlington.

Through the warm months

Weekly or biweekly mowing and edging, trimming and weed removal, hedge and shrub shaping, garden bed and mulch work, and spring and fall cleanups sized to the property.

Through the winter

Driveway, walkway and entrance clearing with de-icing. Lakeshore properties can pick up wet, heavy snow that behaves differently to the drier snow above the escarpment, and it needs clearing sooner rather than later.

One crew, both seasons

The same incorporated crew handles summer and winter, so nobody has to be re-briefed on your property in November. Payment is by cash or Interac e-Transfer, and every property is quoted on what it actually needs.

Also serving Hamilton, Waterdown, Dundas — see summer lawn care and winter snow service for the full scope of work.

Burlington questions we actually get asked.

?

You are based in Hamilton. Is Burlington actually reliable in winter?

Yes, and the honest reason is distance. Aldershot and the lakeshore are well inside a workable pre-dawn route from our east-end base. We would rather decline a snow contract than promise a 4am clear we cannot physically reach.

?

Does Burlington being in Halton Region change anything?

Not for our service. It changes which municipality handles the roads and bylaws, but the work on your property, the scheduling and the quoting are the same as anywhere else we cover.

?

The snow here seems heavier and wetter. Does that matter?

It does. Lakeshore snow tends to be wetter than the drier snow above the escarpment, which means it sets harder if it is left. Those properties are better cleared earlier rather than waiting for an accumulation threshold.
